Hey there, scouts! Do you have a boy wishing for a campfire birthday party? Want to throw him an unforgettable event so he could share his love for outdoors with his friends? Awesome! Camping is so much fun but if you are not willing to take your kids to a real destination camping, you better come up with lots of rustic ideas and create the real thing atmosphere. To help you with that, we want to share a few tips that Kameela Lewis from Tutus and Bowties Events presented on HWTM. Moreover, are team would be thrilled to help you recreate some of the party must haves like campfire cupcake toppers, water bottle labels, gift tags, and jar labels.
First thing to do is to set up a campsite. You can order decor online or you can do it yourself. It’s fun and not that difficult.
Besides making a shelter for the little scouts inside the house, you need to create the perfect campsite outdoors (your backyard, of course). You can die cut tree yourself and make an amazing arrow garlands. And if you are good at sewing, you can make custom tents and little pillows like the ones above. How cute! Since this is a real boys’ bash, here’s a tip: plan lots of activities and games! Boys don’t like to sit around, they need real camping experience and fun games like treasure hunt, checkers, Bingo, and any other that your kid loves. Try to include competitive activities, as well. A craft station with different favor kits would be ideal.
Fill out jars with different candies and chocolates and use them as party favors or rewards for the successful treasure hunters! You can personalize jars by using custom campfire labels. They are easy to stick on and remove afterwards. You can use different designs or the ones you see above. It’s all about creating the real atmosphere for the little scouts.
And keep the adventurous boys well hydrated. We just love these campfire water bottle labels. They add a lot to the theme, plus they are water resistant-just what the real scouts need in case it rains or they get into a water fight game.
We think that boys will be wowed with this theme. Enjoy planning!
